Salone degli Incanti
Historical image of the Salone degli Incanti (ex Pescheria Centrale) in Trieste, one of the main historical buildings facing the Rive. The building, characterized by the imposing tower with clock and the refined neoclassical architecture, was inaugurated in 1913 as the city's large fish market. In the foreground, quays, carriages, citizens and the lively port activity with sailing ships moored in the background are noticeable. Today the Salone degli Incanti is an exhibition space for art and culture, symbol of the Triestine maritime heritage and reference point on the Trieste seafront.
