The old palace with the faces of Palazzo Chiozza

Historical photo of Palazzo Chiozza in via Stadion in Trieste, with the characteristic faces on three series of arches clearly visible. Under the porticoes, shop signs, passersby and carriages can be seen, testifying to the daily life of the era. The building was demolished in 1925 to make way for the current buildings of Assicurazioni Generali. From via Carducci, the aqueduct could be seen.
