Monumental Staircase in the Miramare Gardens

The monumental staircase of the Miramare gardens seen from above, in a hand-coloured photograph by Giuseppe Wulz from 1874. The chequered terrace floor, ornamental urns along the balustrade and the pergola at the far end are clearly visible.
