Historical Photos of Trieste | Digital Photographic Archive
Trieste Storica is a digital photographic archive dedicated to preserving and promoting the historical photographic heritage of the city of Trieste. The project collects, catalogues, and makes accessible photographs that document the urban, architectural, and social transformation of the city from the 19th century to the present day.
Photographic Archive
The archive contains over 1,398 historical photographs, organized by period, location, and subject. Each image is accompanied by detailed metadata: year of capture, author, source, geographic location, and historical description. The photographs span from the second half of the 19th century to the second half of the 20th century.
